About

This Is Jess.

Darte Design was founded by Jess Artiles. Here's her story.

The Short Version

Jess founded Darte Design, the studio behind the Core Design DNA approach, the i3 SIVS program, and the work you’ll find on the Work page — engagements with Amnesty International, MIT’s J-WEL initiative, and MIT’s Office of the President, among others. She’s Darte’s Principal Design Thinking Specialist.

Jess believes everyone is born thinking like a designer — she just helps you shake off the dust and stretch back into it.

“Jessica Artiles knows it well: Design is Power.”darte.design — Our Story
“Transforming our Communities through Care and Conviction.”darte.design — mission statement

How She Works

Jess’s Design-Empowered Leadership models use a Π-based (two-pronged) approach — at once analytical and creative; at once logical and intuitive — integrating ancient technologies like breathwork and kundalini activations to leverage intuition in the workplace.

Left Brain — Analytical

At once analytical and logical — the half that turns a problem into a process.

Right Brain — Creative

At once creative and intuitive — the half activated through ancient technologies like breathwork and kundalini practices.

MIT

Jess completed a Master’s Thesis at MIT combining systems engineering with ancient technologies.

She’s also the founder of the MIT OpenMind::OpenArt gallery — the same project documented as OpenMind :: OpenArt Gallery on the Work page.

Inventing The DesignShop

During her Master’s Thesis, Jess invented The DesignShop — the same format documented as DesignShop Transformations on the Work page.

“A process to shorten the time by which someone begins to think and problem-solve like a designer.”darte.design — Our Story
